Also recently Lachi secured a book deal with Library Tales publishing for her latest novel.

Having opened for Patti LaBelle at a Pridefest, and recently sharing the stage with Gary Nesta Pine of the Wailers at a Gibson Showroom CMJ Showcase, Lachi's band returns to grace Brooklyn Academy of Music's BAM Cafe Series, 9pm Saturday January 31, 2015, where, in the past, she opened for Questlove of the Roots.
