BOUDOIR Wins Best Dramatic Short, Best Cinematography at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Jan. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- BOUDOIR, a Without Chemicals production, a psycho-thriller short directed by writer/director Gina Lee Ronhovde, wins Best Dramatic Short and Best Cinematography and is a People’s Choice Award nominee at the 2015 Hollywood Reel Independent Film(HRIFF) 2015. BOUDOIR will be screening at Regal Cinemas LA LIVE on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 6 p.m. This premier Indie Film Festival highlights the works of emerging talented artists who possess an independent vision and create innovative work outside the studio system.  THE HOLLYWOOD REEL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL (HRIFF) was started to help support and promote independent cinema in Los Angeles, encouraging filmmakers with unique or non-mainstream visions to create films.

A graduate of The Los Angeles Film School, Gina Lee Ronhovde is a naturally talented auteur filmmaker with a unique take on the human experience. Her screenplay “Family Reunion” -- currently circulating the festival circuits as well as the studios -- is a quirky “Meet the Royal Tennebaums” / “Meet the Parents” tale of a family set in rural Minnesota. Synopsis: During their hometown’s annual summer celebration “Tingvold Days,” four estranged siblings and their families compete for perfection during a truly hilarious and dysfunctional family reunion.

BOUDOIR stars Dominique Swain (LOLITA,FACE/OFF, ALPHA DOG) and Deneen Melody (THE PLAYBOY CLUB, ROSE WHITE), is written and directed by Gina Lee Ronhovde, with cinematography by Will Barratt (FROZEN, HATCHET I&II), special effects bys Michael Del Rossa (300, I AM LEGEND) edited by Ed Marx (SWIMMING WITH SHARKS, JEEPERS CREEPERS) with sound & music by John Neff (THE STRAIGHT STORY, MULHOLLAND DRIVE). Synopsis: When a mysterious client begins posing for an agoraphobic photographer during a routine boudoir photo shoot, the session quickly takes a bizarre downward journey into the psychological depths of hell, escalating into a bloody battle to stay alive.
