By: Charity Tap As soon as the user opens the app, he is immediately able to start donating rice. All the user has to have is an Internet connection and he is ready to go. It is very simple; one tap on the rice bowl donates one grain of rice. After every 100 taps, the users phone accesses the Charity Tap server to upload their donation. The user is able to compete with his friends to see who has donated the most rice through a leaderboard in Game Center. The user can also earn achievements by donating a lot of rice. The app is completely free and there is no possible way to spend money when on the app or website. At the end of every month we find the total number of grains worldwide, and donate it to the United Nations World Food Programme. Please visit www.charitytap.org for more Charity Tap information. Charity Tap was developed by 16-year-old Michael Schaja from Parkland, Florida.
