RALEIGH, N.C. - Jan. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- ICG Homes is pleased to announce that the company raised almost $6,000 for the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) in 2014. Via its fundraiser called All Play for Autism, ICG Homes built  two innovative play homes, one for a girl and one for a boy. Raffle tickets for these play homes were sold online, at the ICG Homes’ 2014 Parade of Homes entries, and by participating businesses in Raleigh’s Lafayette Village. 100% of the monies raised in ticket sales was donated to the ASNC. The home building company also donated a play home to a Raleigh family affected by autism.

“I’m proud to have contributed a substantial amount of time and resources in 2014 to All Play for Autism,” said Ryan Perry, CEO of ICG Homes. “Autism is a growing problem in the United States. This project was a small way I could show support for the leading statewide resource organization that serves individuals and families affected by the autism spectrum.”

“We are grateful for our partnership with ICG Homes,” said Tracey Sheriff, ASNC Chief Executive Officer. “This creative project not only provided support for our work to improve the lives of North Carolinians affected by autism but also brought joy directly to one of our families.”

Erin Isgett, whose children received the donated play home, said it would have several benefits for her two older children, both diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The children, ages 6 and 4, both love to play outdoors, but imaginative play does not come as easily to them as it does to other children, she said. The play home also will act as a bridge to other children, she said, giving her children a reason to invite friends and neighbors to their home.
