Carrie Lane To Perform At The Stand For Change Tour

FREEHOLD, N.J. - Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- The NYC Pop Princess Carrie Lane will be Standing Up for Change against bullying this Saturday at iPlay America with the Stand4Change Tour.

About the Stand4Change Concert Series

The Stand4Change concert series was created by Megan Chase. She is 16 year olds and is a singer-songwriter from Newark, DE. Megan is currently homeschooled as she was bullied quite a bit when she was younger to the point that we felt it necessary to pull her out of the private Christian school that she was attending. Megan knows of other kids who are or have been bullied. On December 23, 2013, Megan lost a good friend to suicide. Her friend had been a victim of bullying and simply could not take it anymore. The news of her friend’s decision to take her life, hit Megan pretty hard.

Megan decided to do something about it. In May 2014, Megan became a student ambassador for Defeat the Label, a non-profit anti-bullying organization. They have turned over their social media pages for her to manage, post, etc. Megan has also decided to use her love for music as a tool to help spread the message to end bullying. She is now organizing the anti-bullying Stand4Change concert series. These concerts headline performances by a group of independent performing musicians who have joined together to unite against bullying of all types. The purposed behind these concerts is to create critical awareness of bullying issues among middle school and high school aged students. As well as creating a fun environment where everyone feels accepted. Megan’s mission is simple: “Enough is enough! Stand4Change and help put an end to bullying.”
