San Diego’s top rated food tour company, Bite San Diego, adds new Pacific Beach tour route!

SAN DIEGO - Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Bite San Diego, the top rated culinary tour company of America’s Finest City, announced the opening of its next tour route located in Pacific Beach. “PB,” as referred to by locals and known mostly for its’ college influence/population, is now a bustling hot spot of ethnic eateries and mid-range dining options. The new tour route will be offered every Sunday at 2pm, starting January 2015. The tour includes stops at a minimum of 5 local eateries, and includes a surplus of interesting and lesser known facts of the area.

“As we began to search for potential new areas to operate in, it was a no brainer that “PB” was next on the list,” says Rebecca Bamberger, the Founder of Bite San Diego. “Many don’t think of PB as a foodie type of neighborhood in San Diego, but we found this not to be the case. PB has a very rich history that most people are unaware of. That, coupled along with a wide array of dining options, made our choice of opening up a new route here that much easier.”

The Pacific Beach tour will take up to 15 guests on a 2-mile tour with stops including 99 Cups of Coffee, Lil’ Orbits, Papa Luna’s, Cass St. Bar & Grill, SandBox Pizza, and The Patio on Lamont.

Each restaurant will offer a generous “bite” of a dish and/or beverage, and guests will be treated to an overview of the establishment’s highlights and cuisine. Between the restaurant stops, an experienced and foodie fan tour guide will show guests historical points of interest, such as the spot of the first college in San Diego, the original Dunaways Drugstore, and the infamous Crystal Pier.
