BH Pet Gear Hires Jodi Gruder as the Vice President of Production and Development!

Jodi is a real go-getter and is known as the person that "just gets it done!" She has been fortunate and grateful for her well-rounded career. After graduating with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Jodi began her career path in retail, which eventually led her toa wholesale position. This opportunity helped her acquire skills in importing, logistics with freight forwarding, customs documentation, and banking regulations.

She then moved to production where she learned how to measure garments and graph patterns. In 1987, Jodi traveled to Asia where she did factory inspections, evaluations, while learning various sewing machinery. Over the next 20 years, she had the unique opportunity to travel worldwide;exploring best markets for production, meeting with suppliers, visiting factories, negotiating prices and insuring all production was set up exactly as the product manager wanted it.

After years in women's apparel, Jodi eventually decided to explore the world of pets.In 2012 she began working for Petco as a Global Sourcing Manager. This job was a steppingstone to her new position at BH Pet Gear. BH Pet Gear has had much success over the years but is always looking to expand business and create new and innovative products. Bringing Jodi on board as a Vice President of Production and Development with help to catapult the company and take BH Pet Gear to the next level.
