Moss & Associates awarded 1010 Brickell construction contract

MIAMI - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Moss & Associates, the Fort Lauderdale-based construction firm, has been chosen as the general contractor for 1010 Brickell, a 387-unit, 47-story tower developed by Key International and 13^th Floor Investments.

This is Moss’ fourth partnership with Key International, a developer with which Moss has partnered for The Ivy and Mint condominium towers in the Brickell area. It is Moss’s second partnership with 13^th Floor Investments, which has partnered with Moss and Key International on the 400 Sunny Isles project, a condominium and mixed-use property under construction in Sunny Isles Beach.

The $119-million 1010 Brickell project broke ground in September, with completion set for first quarter of 2017.  The tower will total 968,000 square feet.

The architect, The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership, has designed more than $10 billion in high-rise residential properties.

The project is one block from Mary Brickell Village and two blocks from Brickell City Centre.

The project is packed with amenities, particularly on the ninth-and-10^th- and 47^th-floor rooftops.  1010 Brickell is also strongly oriented toward families. The ninth and 10^th floor will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools; a spa; a two-story Modern Kids’ Gymnasium; two bowling lanes; basketball, tennis, and squash courts; a bocce ball court; the two-story, glass-encased “Club at 1010,” with a gym and fitness center; and much else. Features on the 47^th-floor rooftop will include a large swimming pool; a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi overlooking Biscayne Bay and Miami’s skyline; a covered outdoor bar; and an outdoor movie theater with a retractable ceiling. The tower will also offer an executive business center.
