Then, Alexa asks candidates to describe situations in which they had to ask for help. “Interviewees that can’t or won’t come up with responses to this question are usually trying to appear perfect, as though they never need help,” she indicated. “Instead, someone who acknowledges a past mistake, and how he or she learned from it, is someone who demonstrates the skills I want on my team. I have no interest in perfection. Authenticity and humility are much more meaningful.”
