Follow on Google News | New Headquarters confirmed for Utility FirmBy: Trojan Utilities The 8,460 sq ft office space, equivalent to nine average sized semi-detached homes, will house Trojan’s growing operational team as they support their engineers on a national level coordinating their working day, contracts, and stock. Stadium House will officially become the company’s headquarters base, whilst retaining its offices in Scotland, Normanton, Yorkshire, and central Bolton. Gareth Openshaw, Managing Director of Trojan Utilities says: “I’m from Bolton myself and it’s a great moment to able to invest further in the town I love so much. We’ve grown and developed so much as a business in the past 12 months, and have recruited accordingly to reflect this. We simply needed more space to accommodate our needs now and in the future as we continue our recruitment drive in Bolton and lead in the UK’s renewal of domestic energy metering hardware.” Trojan Utilities specialises in the installation and maintenance of domestic Smart Meters throughout the UK; including the installation and maintenance of traditional domestic gas and electric meters. With an infrastructure now established for national operations the company is supporting Government legislation to lower the carbon footprint of the UK by replacing the metering system currently in place with that of smart metering – to date they are currently installing 2,000 smart meters per week.
