Live Interior 3D for Windows gets solid functionality update

Live Interior 3D is the popular interior design software, available at Windows Store. It runs on both PC and tablets with Windows 8.1, including ARM devices. Introducing Light Editor - Creating Light Fixtures (Pro only)

The new dialog lets user take full control over light attenuation, glow, and direction by editing light parameters of a lamp. Moreover, it lets user create own light fixtures by adding light sources to any imported object; import lamp models and make them shine.

Changing Object Type & Representation (Pro only)

Object Type and Representation dialogue lets user assign object type (Furnishing, Window, Door or Stairs) to any imported/downloaded object to determine its behaviour within the program. Objects that posses Window or Door Type can be inserted into walls and roofs automatically. Also, this dialogue lets user adjust imported object 3D orientation with the help of Rotate and 3D-flip tools, and select how it will look on 2D floor plan.

Other improvements:

- Added Horizontal and Vertical Rulers and ability to add Layout Guides with snapping on 2D floor plan.

- Added Info Panel on the top of the 2D View, showing the selected object parameters.

- Links to Live Interior 3D pages on Facebook and Twitter were added to the Gallery.

- Fixed some issues with importing files and materials in non-English user accounts.

- Added an option in Program Preferences to choose graphics card for the program to work with. Now graphic settings and quality limits depend on the graphic card.

- Now you can edit floor and ceiling shape by adding and adjusting contour points.

- Other minor improvements.
