Forté PR Names New Social Media Manager, PR Assistant and Account Executive

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Forté PR (FPR) is pleased to announce that Aimee Wenske has joined its team as social media manager along with Erica Ramos as PR & social media assistant. In addition, Veronica Kawka has been promoted to account executive.

Prior to joining Forté, Wenske served as brand and social manager for XYIENCE, the official energy drink of the UFC. Her social media content development and promotions produced record-breaking numbers, yielding triple-digit growth with one campaign alone. At Forté, Wenske will manage the social media initiative for clients including Essentia Water, the no. 1 selling bottled water brand in the natural channel, and Beyond Vegas whose mission is to help people discover, explore and connect with outdoor recreation and the mountain town lifestyle in Las Vegas.

Wenske graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. A native of Idaho, Wenske enjoys spending time outdoors, big powder days, rushing river rapids and camping with her husband.

Kawka, who joined the agency in early 2014, is the point person on Forté’s local accounts, including the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort and The Meadows School. Kawka earned a master’s degree in professional writing and a bachelor’s degree in professional and creative writing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. A native of Las Vegas, Kawka is a former nationally ranked tennis player. When she’s not working or practicing her forehand, she enjoys hiking in Red Rock, cycling and skiing.

Ramos earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara. While taking a course in environmental science, she became interested in public health and remains a passionate advocate for women’s health. She launched her career working for a startup in downtown Las Vegas, where she managed operations and handled IT. At Forté PR she supports the PR and social account teams by conducting research, generating media analysis and other reports as well as being an all around organizational dynamo.

Ramos is a natural community connector; she has spent hundreds of hours volunteering for organizations like Planned Parenthood and Women 2.0.  A dancer, rock climber and snowboarder, outside of the office you can find her in the mountains, reading or enjoying her family.
