Dr. Clyde Lettsome Renews his Professional Engineering License

ATLANTA - Jan. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Clyde Lettsome, PhD, PE, MEM has successfully renewed his Georgia Professional Engineering (PE) license. The PE License has to be renewed every two years.  In order to complete the renewal, Dr. Lettsome has to complete continuing education courses within his engineering discipline as set by the Georgia Board of Professional Engineers.

This renewal process ensures that the engineer is keeping up with latest research and technology.   Obtaining and maintaining a PE license indicates that a degreed engineer has been deemed by the licensing state as a competent engineer in his or her engineering discipline. In many cases the professional engineering designation is required for individuals to practice and work as an engineer.

“It is important that I maintain a standard of excellence and continue to show that I am staying abreast of changing technology”, says Dr. Lettsome.  “It is also important that clients and the public in general have a sense of confidence in the statements that I make and the work that I perform, as I must abide by the high ethical and moral standards set by the Board.”
