NEW Film and TV services website launched by Secret Compass

On January 21, adventure travel and expedition company Secret Compass launches its new TV and film services website, to support crews seeking to capture the extraordinary in the world’s wildest places.

BRISTOL, U.K. - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Secret Compass most recently worked on the Walking the Nile series with explorer Levison Wood (Channel 4), overseeing crew safety and location management in seven challenging African locations.

Walking the Nile’s executive producer, Adam Bullmore, said, “Throughout this expedition, civil war, political hostility and severe weather conditions provided constant challenges. Secret Compass met each one with expertise and good humour – a rare combination.”

Secret Compass co-founder Tom Bodkin said: “Our expert teams strive to understand a producer’s artistic vision, thinking laterally to bring it to life safely, creatively and within budget.

“We’ve helped the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and National Geographic capture the extraordinary in countries from South Sudan to Siberia, with presenters from George Clooney and Kate Humble to Ben Fogle and James Cracknell.”

One producer, Josh Pitt, said of Secret Compass, “In Africa, the team showed a fantastic understanding of the cultural, logistical, risk analysis, financial and editorial requirements of the shoot, providing more support than we were expecting.”
