Dr. Hixon is a Professor of Engineering from the University of Ohio, and regularly competes in the annual 650-mile Lake Erie Loop. Linda Hurley is one of MSILSF's most experienced extreme endurance racers with a string of wins to her credit. Official entries to date include: Ray Hixon/Aprilia RS70cc Linda Hurley/Yamaha 400cc Majesty Alan Spears/Broadhurst~ Many racers have expressed interest in The Great Race. Racing from Imperial Beach, California, to Madawaska, Maine is, in itself, a huge undertaking of rider and machine. Logistics include a support team and vehicle, accommodation enroute and in Madawaska, and crating/shipment of one's racer to its point of origin. As of this writing tentative entries include: Bill Murar/Racer TBA Stan Scott/Racer TBA Bill Murar is father of the Lake Erie Loop, and a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor. He participates annually in the 650-mile Lake Erie Loop, and finished 2nd Place Overall in The Real Cannonball 2013 on a Kawasaki 250cc Ninja.
