Local Harley-Davidson® Stores Support Junior Achievement of SWFL

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Leadership from Six Bends Harley-Davidson^® and Naples Harley-Davidson^® are supporting Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida in a big way on Sunday, Feb. 14, participating in the non-profits’ fundraising event “Over the Edge.”

Gil Gibson, General Manager of Six Bends Harley-Davidson, and John Tabar, General Manager of Naples Harley-Davidson have committed to raising funds in an effort to support the local non-profit, where they will rappel down all 18 stories of the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples.

Over the Edge is a national leader in providing economic education programs. Their mission is to teach children and young adults financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship. Money raised from the event will directly benefit the Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida for their programs, which give students hands-on experience to explore the work world. This includes lessons on mathematics in business, personal and global economics, career skills, and the importance of education. The ultimate goal of the organization is to utilize practical messages to help prepare tomorrow’s future workers and community leaders.

In order to participate in the event, individuals must raise a minimum of $1,000. The public is welcome to attend and donations can be made online using the links below.
