Six Bends Harley-Davidson® to Host First Annual Chili Cook-Off

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- The First Annual Six Bends^™ Chili Cook Off will be taking place on Saturday, Jan. 31.  This event is a contest to name the tastiest chili of all and designed to raise money for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida.  Individuals and restaurants are welcome to enter in the contest, with prizes awarded for the best tasting chili based on attendee votes for participants. The public is encouraged to come out to the event, taste the chili, and help determine the winner.

The festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will last until 2:00 p.m. The spiciest chili entries will be set up outside at The Pit, while the remainder of the entries will be set up within Six Bends Harley-Davidson store.  There is a $10 entry fee for participants that will also be donated to charity. Tasting is free.  All participants must bring one crockpot full of their tasty chili to ensure enough for all of the judges. Harley-Davidson gift cards will be awarded to the top three winners at 2:00 p.m. First place will receive a $150 gift card and a specialty gift basket, second place will receive a $75 gift certificate and third place will receive a $25 gift certificate.
