The Dallas Standard Focusing on Goals for the New Year

DALLAS, TX – The director of operations at The Dallas Standard discussed various techniques for identifying and achieving company objectives, and also announced the team’s plans for goal-setting in 2015.
 
DALLAS - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- “It’s great when business comes in a steady stream, because it reflects that a company is healthy,” said Taylor, the firm’s director of operations. “To stay ahead of our competition, it’s necessary for us to ensure that The Dallas Standard evolves and innovates along with the market. Taylor and her team are reviewing the goals they reach in 2014. By doing this, they are able to assess the effectiveness of their practices and policies, which will then inform the objectives they identify for the next year. “We’re looking forward to expanding into new markets, and to further coaching our marketing experts as they develop into the leaders of tomorrow,” she said. “Obviously, we also plan to boost revenue on behalf of our clients and to help them strengthen their relationships with their existing customers. In other words, we’ll ensure that they exceed their goals as well.”

“There’s a lot to keep in mind during the goal-setting process,” Taylor continued. “At The Dallas Standard, we have specific guidelines in place to make sure that we cover all our bases. For example, we ensure that every expectation we set is attainable and specific. We want to be able to reach them within the year, and I insist that they contain detailed language. Un-quantifiable targets are not adequate markers of progress.”

According to Taylor, the intentions she and her colleagues set must also be measurable. This will inform them whether they are making progress overall. Depending on specific objectives, reviews – either quarterly or monthly – are imperative. Forward momentum should also be measured against 2013’s rate of progress.

“There’s one more thing I’d like to point out,” Taylor indicated. “Whatever expectations are put forth, they should be recorded either digitally or on good old-fashioned paper. By documenting goals this way, the odds of reaching them increase exponentially. After all, it may be easy to envision goals, but realizing them is not so simple. For this reason, it is essential to make every effort to streamline this challenging process.”

With a detailed plan functioning as a map of the journey to success, Taylor is sure that 2015 will be the company’s best year yet. “I believe strongly in the abilities of my team members. When we work together, we’re a powerful force. I just know that great things are in our future.”
