Six Bends to host PURSEonality collection party and “brew and burn”

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Dress for Success SW Florida and Blessings in a Backpack have teamed up and are pleased to announce Six Bends will host a party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28. to collect handbags for sale and auction at PURSEonality, an exciting event to benefit the two organizations. While the ladies enjoy champagne and appetizers upstairs at the brand new Harley-Davidson event and lifestyle complex, the men can kick back for a “Brew and Burn” at the fire pit, with beer and cigars.

In addition to this his-and-hers party for two good causes at Scott Fischer Enterprises’ exciting 16.5-acre motorcycle store, event venue and mixed-use commercial center, save the date for PURSEonality from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 at Bell Tower Shops. There is no need for the guys to skip that event either, with plenty to do at the designated “Man Cave” for the evening.

Handbags collected at the Six Bends event will be offered for sale, including designer and celebrity-donated purses up for bidding at a silent auction at the PURSEonality event. Dozens of fabulous items donated by event sponsors and vendors will also be available in a Chinese auction. VIP sponsors will enjoy early entry at 5:30 p.m.

Dress for Success SW Florida relies on donations and volunteers from the Southwest Florida community to help continue its life-changing mission of providing wardrobes, employment counseling and career development tools to disadvantaged women in the area. Private donors, school officials and volunteers are integral to the mission of Blessings in a Backpack of SWFL provides critical weekend nourishment to children who depend on federal food assistance programs they receive at school.
