Official MTV Artist Emiko’s ‘Freeze Frame’ Is Released Globally!

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Engaging, energetic, enticing…EMIKO! The descriptive words are varied but the sound is unmistakable…and now, with her latest release, this classical piano child prodigy turned Pop/Rock STAR is again setting the world on its ear with her single and video, “Freeze Frame”!

EMIKO is recognized as an Official MTV Artist and received this valuable branding through her label’s licensing agreement with media giant VIACOM.  She now adds “Freeze Frame” to her repertoire of hit songs, with her latest offering recently released through the label’s distribution service, INgrooves and through Universal Music Group's distribution channels--making the song available to over 100 countries and 750 retailers worldwide. The “Freeze Frame” video is available on both the Viacom.TV and VEVO platforms.

EMIKO enthusiastically states, “’Freeze Frame’ is a song about the singular moment you fall--or decide to fall in love. Everyone's been there and everyone's looking to get there again. That moment is one of the greatest things we have to hold onto…and I wanted to write a song about it and really streeeeeetch it out and make it last more than a moment. My hope is that anyone who hears the song will be transported to that place again. Love songs are so much fun to write, and I really hope everyone loves listening to the song as much as we had fun making it.” EMIKO is quick to share credit with her Co-writer and Producer, Grammy-nominated producer TOMMY FARAGHER.

EMIKO has been featured in the NAMM issue of Keyboard Magazine, with the publication heralding her as, “invoking Billy Preston as much as Billy Joel”. She has also graced the pages of Billboard Magazine, FM Sound, Music Connection and numerous other mainstream music publications.

With an endorsement contract from Hammond Organ, EMIKO is proving to be a heavy-hitter in the keyboard world--not just through her recordings and performances--but also as a personality and host for the new HTV, Hammond’s new TV project. She is additionally a three-time featured performer of the Songwriters Hall of Fame New Writers Showcases.
