Noble Pies Hosts Contest Feb 1 to Celebrate National Pie Day

WARWICK, N.Y. - Jan. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- . Bring the entire family to compete or just to watch everyone dunking their faces into blueberry pie. The contests will be held on Sunday February 1, 2015 at 3:00PM.

There are contests for children and adults, drawings for prizes, and samples of Noble Pies baked goods. The contest entrants must eat as much of one pie as they can, with their hands behind their back. There is a 10 minute time limit

Entrance fees are $1.00 for children and $5.00 for adults. The entry fees will be donated to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry. The winners in each contest are awarded 3 months of free pies from the Noble Pies Bakery.  Those attending will have a chance to sample baked goods and win prizes. Noble Pies, owned by Leslie Noble and Tom Herman, has been making homemade pies since 2008 in the Warwick area. They moved their business to the current retail location, 121 State Rt 94 S, Warwick, NY in June 2010, and their entire family is involved in operating the business. Support from other local businesses and the Warwick community have kept them thriving and expanding.  In September 2012 they opened the Noble Pies Cafe in downtown Warwick. They have also expanded into online sales, shipping their sweet pies and savory pot pies throughout the USA.
