Follow on Google News | Rising Artist Benjamin Dara To Sing At The Center For Spiritual LivingArriving for his first time to the Center for Spiritual Living in SLC, Benjamin Dara has been asked to sing as an honorary guest on Sunday. With more than fifteen years of experience writing, playing, and performing music Ben is thrilled to sing.
By: Benjamin Dara He will be accompanied by world renowned Grammy award winning musicians in the center’s house band lead by the newly appointed music director Kopo Crawford. Kopo will accompany Ben on the piano, with Mike Bolz on bass and Ricardo Salvador on drums. Ben is thrilled to come delight listeners this upcoming Sunday at the center as he states: "It's amazing to make a presence in the spiritual community every now and then. They are so grateful." Benjamin will be performing two songs for the center. The first will be a rendition of Cat Stevens “Peace Train” with the piano being featured instead of the guitar. Then the second tune he will play will be an original of his entitled “Find Yourself”, one which has been quite popular over the past couple of years. Ben’s lyrics tend to highlight on inspiration and life experience yet delivered in a smooth poetic way. To top of the lyricism Ben has a highly trained voice which he has seasoned over the years and which he compliments with his over fifteen years of playing the guitar both electric and acoustic. Benjamin Dara has been featured in the Salt Lake Tribune, Ogden Examiner, and St. George Herald. He is also the main songwriter, front man, and founder of the world rock band DARA who is releasing a new single a week from today from an album he has been working on for the past few years. Lots of people have been talking about his band around Salt Lake proper for the past few months.
