Akillezz releases anticipated "One Level" music video on Vevo!

NEW YORK - Jan. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Collectively reaching over 30 major radio stations across the United States, the single recieved support from both Power 105.1 and Hot 97. It was at Power 105.1 where DJ Suss One and DJ Self supported the emerging song when DJ Spynfo from Hot 97 also contributed to the life of the single. Ultimately, the song grew to charting as the top 9th commercial selling record on Billboard Hot Single Sales.

Having created a stir thus far, the anticipation for the "One Level" music video bubbles more vigerously as the drop date approaches. The music video premiered on VEVO on January 15th 2015 and also will be covered by Complex.

When asked about his upcoming music video, Akillezz, who worked very closely with Ben Griffin (Director) to develop some of the thematic constructs for the video, says, "One Level... represents a hedonistic financial class of people who fall into the very top of the 1% annual income. They exist on a financial plane which facilitates their belief that life's pleasures and all of it's problems can be solved by excess monetary gain..." he continues to elaborate however that there are also underlying spiritual connotations, "it [the music video] also refers to being part of a singular physical plane which is imbued with temptation, wherein greatness can only be attained by walking a fine line between darkness and divinity." Certainly, not without great depth, Akillezz reminds us that, "In Hermeticism, the ultimate reality is reffered to variously as God, the All, or the One." Born of all these ideas, "One Level," continues to bring success to the CEO rapper as he lines up his next single for radio.

Akillezz reveals that his second single, "Anything" should begin it's campaign at radio shortly and has a sales date of January 27th. When asked what we might expect of his second single, Akillezz says it's a mid tempo hip hop record produced by John "Jayd" Daniels to which Akillezz wrote about a deeply personal experience. He even calls it a 'love song,' although it's hard to tell whether or not he's being sarcastic. Although it may have been a stretch, I asked Akillezz who the song is specifically about, he responds, "I consider it a bit crass to divulge her name because it's ultimately a broken love song and she who the song reffers to remains to this day a friend of mine."

We're left in anticipation of new material on the horizon and wondering how many women will soon be wishing that
