The Master-Clamp handle slides backwards until the desired opening for the frame is reached, then locks into place once you turn the handle clockwise. The clamp sliding and locking mechanism provides flexibility, instant alignment and clamping pressure, saving picture framers time versus using a traditional picture framing clamp.
