Florida Hospital Signs on as Presenting Sponsor of 2015 Remarkable River Racing Series

PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Jan. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Port Orange-based not-for-profit corporation, Building Remarkable Communities, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center (Daytona Beach) as the presenting sponsor of their 2015 Remarkable River Racing Series.

Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Director of Marketing, Shannon Finley, remarks, “As healthcare providers, we know all too well the devastating impact domestic abuse can have on victims and their loved ones. That’s why we’ve decided to partner with Cheslow Achievement Group and Building Remarkable Communities, Inc. on the Remarkable River Racing Series. This race series aims to eradicate domestic violence locally and support survivors of domestic abuse, as well as their children. The Remarkable River Racing Series’ mission aligns with our own mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ by taking care of the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our community.”

Building Remarkable Communities, Inc.’s (501(c)3 pending) mission is to work with both public and private sector companies and organizations to eradicate domestic and family violence in our local communities through prevention, training, and change of mindset via direct victims’ assistance funding, and the development and implementation of educational programs and systems, funded through organized athletic events, such as the Remarkable River Racing Series, and direct donations.
