Summerville Attorney Kelly Alfreds to Dance with The ARK's Stars

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Jan. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Steinberg Law Firm is proud to announce that attorney Kelly Alfreds will be competing in this year's Dancing With The ARK's Stars on March 14th at Pinewood Preparatory School in Summerville! We have been a supporter of the ballroom dance event for several years, and we are excited about having one of our own attorneys participating as a celebrity dancer. This event is a popular annual fundraiser for The ARK, Alzheimer's Family Support Services in Summerville.

Kelly will be dancing the Rumba and competing against a handful of other local celebrities, including Octavia Mitchell from WCBD News 2 and Kenny Walker, the head football coach at Ashley Ridge High School. Celebrity judges include Sean Harrington, Tauna Longest, and Brad & Jennifer Moranz.

Each celebrity dancer has been paired with a professional ballroom dance instructor from Elite Dance International Dance Studio in Mt. Pleasant.

Each dancer has an individual fundraising goal, and all are working together to raise at least $60,000 for The ARK, a local non-profit that has provided comprehensive support to families affected by Alzheimer's for over 19 years. Dancers are encouraging their friends and family to donate to the cause and help give families the support and information they need to "successfully navigate their Alzheimer's journey."
