SGS will exhibit at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany from 28 January to 2 February 2015 in Hall 11.1, Booth E-03, F-04.
 
NUREMBERG, Germany - Jan. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- SGS will exhibit at the Spielwarenmesse®, the Nuremberg Toy Fair, in Germany from 28 January to 2 February 2015 in Hall 11.1, Booth E-03, F-04. Visitors are invited to meet the SGS experts and get answers to all questions right away!

The Spielwarenmesse 2015 is one of the largest international toy fairs and will welcome 75,000 visitors from over 120 countries, and 2.700 exhibitors, professionals from the toy industry. More than 1 million products will be presented, including 75.000 new products.

SGS’s presence at the Nuremberg Toy Fair will be an opportunity to provide an update on the comprehensive solutions the company offers throughout the supply chain to help ensure that toys comply with all applicable regulations in Europe and worldwide. The SGS toy experts will be available to answer questions about hot topics such as EU Toy Safety Directive, safety assessments, chemical requirements (EN 71-3, CMRs, nitrosamines, fragrances, etc) or technical documentation.

Mini-Talks of SGS Technical Experts at the Toy Fair Nuremberg 2015

During the fair, SGS toy safety technical experts will deliver mini-talks on following topics:

- Safety Assessment under EU Toy Safety Directive

All toys sold in the EU must have a safety assessment to ensure their suitability for sale. Charlotte Brown, Global Product Integrity Engineering Manager at SGS will give an overview of requirements and process of the mechanical/physical safety assessment.

- New EU Toy Acoustic Requirements EN 71-1 A2

New EU toy acoustic requirements (EN 71-1:A2) came into force on 30 September 2014. Sanda Stefanovic, SGS Senior Toy Expert, will inform on these requirements and provide examples of grey areas.
