Tom Tillery to Speak at AICPA Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference

ATLANTA - Jan. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Thomas N. Tillery, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, CRPC® Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer of Paraklete® Financial, Inc  (PFI) will be presenting "Been There, Done That: A Trail Guide to Planning with the Affluent" on January 21st at the 2015 AICPA Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference.

The personal financial planning needs of the affluent have not changed over time. Yes, the terrain is different; but their fundamental needs are consistent:  cash flow, risk management, investment planning , tax management, and estate planning. This presentation will provide practitioners with a "Trail Guide" for working with affluent clients. Tom will review time tested solutions to issues facing the wealthy. The presentation is populated with practical illustrations and anecdotes from his 30+ years in this arena.

Tom earned a M.S. in Financial Services from The American College and an M.A. in Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is an active member of AICPA (Non-CPA Associate), the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Tom is a frequent speaker and writer on all topics relating to personal financial planning.  He has written personal financial planning curriculum for several universities and on-line providers.  Tom holds the singular position of being the only instructor who has moderated both the CFP® and CPA/PFS Live Reviews – his pass rate for both exams exceeds the national averages!
