CALGARY, Alberta - Jan. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Calgary AB – Construction of the World’s Most Pet Friendly House has been dealt a temporary blow by tumbling oil prices. While this exciting project will continue to move forward, market volatility has forced developers to reassess the project till they can evaluate how the drop in oil affects the real estate market in Calgary area.

Project founder and owner of the popular website, Professor’s House, David Beart said he was determined to continue with the project as soon as possible.

“We have watched the price of oil drop by 50 percent in recent months and the reality is that the real estate market in Calgary, where the house will be built, is going to be affected. The oil boom has driven the real estate market to record highs in our city, and this sudden downturn is likely to reverse the effect on the market.”

Beart, a committed animal lover who got his own second lease on life after a kidney transplant five ago, wants to start construction as soon as possible. At the same time, he wants to ensure that the world’s most pet-friendly house will be a strong asset that won’t drop in value before it’s even built.
