Bartonville, TX – January 8, 2015 – Created by Tara Crooks during her husband’s first deployment almost ten years ago, LovingASoldier.com (LAS) served as a personal blog. Tara chronicled her experience as a military spouse - sharing the highs and lows of her journey - and the startup of her radio show, Army Wife Talk Radio (AWTR).  Two years later, as the radio show gained support, LAS was opened to interested bloggers from all walks of military life, making it one of the first collaborative military family blogs.

In 2009, ArmyWifeNetwork.com was opened as the umbrella that joined what was previously known as the websites of Army Wife Talk Radio and Field Problems™.  AWN, the leading site for Army wives by Army wives, became a significant hub for Army families through empowerment and scrutinized resources. Loving A Soldier blog was a large part of AWN, boasting over thirty military family bloggers sharing their journey.

In a major redesign with a fresh, new look, LAS and AWN were merged, making ArmyWifeNetwork.com the comprehensive go-to place for official information; expert articles, which can be found under the AWN Expert Section (http://www.armywifenetwork.com/category/expert/); written accounts of military spouses’ personal journeys, which can be found under the AWN Experience Section (http://www.armywifenetwork.com/category/experience/); and so much more.  Tara Crooks, co-founder of AWN, said, “We believe our new site will better engage our fans, be easier to navigate, and instantly conveys who we are and what we do for our Army community.  We are so proud to share the new ArmyWifeNetwork.com with you.”
