Lanier Islands Invites SnowWorld Guests to Give Back on MLK Day

BUFORD, Ga. - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- In observance of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 19, 2015, popular lakeside destination – Lanier Islands – invites its guests to give back to the community. In exchange for bringing bags filled with gently used clothing, guests will receive half priced admission to the resort’s newest attraction – SnowWorld. All of the clothing collected throughout the day will be donated to Goodwill of North Georgia.

By providing clothing that will be sold at thrift store prices in Goodwill locations throughout North Georgia, those who participate in this Give Back event will be supporting the programs of a vital non-profit organization that is focused on giving people a hand up through training and job opportunities.”

Once inside the gates of SnowWorld, patrons will be treated to a full-day of fun that includes 9 thrilling speed slides, Polar Plummet - a 13-lane tube slide, 4 snow play zones, skating at the Polar Rink, 8 family-friendly eateries, carnival rides and firepits throughout for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.
