Follow on Google News | Flybe to employ CTC WINGS “whitetail” graduatesBy: CTC Aviation Group Visitors to CTC Aviation’s first Careers Event for 2015 will be able to discover first-hand about the exciting new opportunities available with Europe’s largest regional airline, Flybe, for CTC WINGS graduate pilots. Captain James Smart, Head of Crew Training for Flybe will be the Guest Speaker on Saturday 31 January at CTC Aviation’s Crew Training Centre - Southampton (UK). The timing of CTC Aviation’s January Careers Event coincides with the news that Flybe is now employing CTC WINGS “whitetail” Flybe and CTC Aviation have been working together since 2012 when the two companies launched the first CTC WINGS ATPL Route, with applicants being jointly selected by CTC Aviation and Flybe prior to the commencement of training. As part of this programme Flybe offers partial sponsorship towards completion of the course with CTC Aviation. The first graduates of that original intake celebrated their achievements at CTC Aviation’s annual graduation ceremony last month. Additional CTC WINGS trainees destined for Flybe are currently at various phases of their training with CTC Aviation at the company’s Crew Training Centres in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. The news that Flybe will now also employ graduates of the CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL “whitetail” Those interested in attending the careers event should register through CTC Aviation’s website in advance. Captain Smart will be joined by a team of CTC WINGS graduate pilots already flying with Flybe and, together with speakers from CTC Aviation and the Aviation Skills Partnership (the team behind CTC Aviation’s optional BSc (Hons) Degree), they will be on hand to answer questions throughout the day.
