Bayhead Capital to hold emergency Russian investment forum

CAUSEWAY BAY, Hong Kong - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Bayhead Capital will host its Russian Investment Forum at its Hong Kong Headquarters on Tuesday 20^th January 2015.

Bayhead Capital’s forum will be focussing on Russian investment and topics regarding the recent fall of the Russian rouble.  The forum, which aims to promote constructive dialogue between Russian and international investors each year, will attract over 200 investors globally.

Bayhead Capital’s Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Robert Tan commented on the upcoming forum saying “Numerous topics will be discussed at length while also having a question and answer during the event’s opening session regarding the rouble.  The event will also feature a number international investor guests who will address key topics of Russia’s investment climate and economic indicators in Russia.”

Bayhead Capital's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Simon Ming-Liu pointed out that "What is often discussed as Russia's weaknesses in terms of global economic standing, are opportunities for the savvy investor to look into.  However, the events in Russia in recent weeks have changed things."

Bayhead Capital’s Mr. Ming-Liu also added "The country choice for investments is a big component in the attribution of returns. The Russian market is particularly correlated to external factors, namely, commodities. Another factor behind this high correlation is the still significant role of cross-border wholesale funding as foreign investors continue to dominate portfolio flows in the Russian stock market.  We will look for a positive outcome."
