NFL Player Antonio Smith's Foundation Takes It To The Streets

HOUSTON - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- NFL Defensive Tackle Antonio Smith's Little People With Big Challenges Foundation needs volunteers! We welcome all philanthropists, but we are in need of elementary and Jr. high school coaches to help with our community days in the park!

Little People With Big Challenges' mission is to encourage regularly scheduled physical activity and healthier food choices as measurable tactics to decrease and prevent childhood obesity. While supporting the efforts to fight and prevent childhood obesity, We aim to empower the social, physical and emotional well-being of children and families undergoing adversities by providing group activities that will contribute to a healthy mind, body and spirit through our Physical Health and Training program (PHaT).

The program is designed to create a fun and engaging atmosphere where both children and parents can participate in competitive outdoor games and activities.  We are traveling to parks and recreational centers in underserved communities in the Houston, TX metro area to host our community field days.
