Jacqueline Collins elected Chairman of South Shore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

ROCKLAND, Mass. - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Jacqueline Collins, principal of Partnering for Performance (www.pfpconsult.com) has been elected Chair of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org), the region’s largest Chamber.

She succeeds former Board of Directors Chairman Ray Belanger, who will now assume the role of Immediate Past Chairman.

In her new role, she will work closely with Chamber CEO Peter Forman to help lead and develop the 1300-member organization that is recognized as the voice of business on the South Shore.  Collins will also be at the helm of monthly meetings of the Board of Directors.  As Vice Chair of Membership and leader of the Chamber’s Membership Committee for four years, Collins set forth a strategy to enable membership growth, engagement and retention based on an extensive value proposition.  The South Shore Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most well respected Chambers in the nation and in the Commonwealth.

Collins, a resident of Abington, is an active member of the South Shore Chamber and has served in a number of capacities.

She brings considerable business strengths to her position as Board Chair.  Known for her acumen in the development and implementation of strategies forgrowth,sustainability, and performance, Collins has earned a reputation for being a creative groundbreaker in leadership development, change management, customer service, client retention, problem resolution, communication strategies, coaching, and mentoring.

Prior to founding Partnering for Performance, Collins worked in Fleet Financial Group as Director of Quality Management for Fleet Retirement Plan Services, and before that with Putnam Investments.  She has also owned and operated several small businesses in the retail, service and consulting sectors.

Collins holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of Iowa, and has taken additional business courses at Northeastern University, The Sloan School of Management, and has completed National Quality Award training attending the Juran Institute.

Her professional memberships include the Association for Quality and Participation, Goal/QPC, Mass Bay Organization Learning Group and the American Management Association. She was previously an Ambassador for the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and has served the Chamber in a number of capacities.
