WASHINGTON - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Notable soul jazz vocalist and North Carolina independent recording artist Yolanda Rabun is celebrating a successful finish at Kickstarter.com, an online fundraising site that now allows Yolanda to release her 3rd, currently self-titled, jazz project planned for the summer of 2015.  Yolanda, who has collaborated with the late Grammy-award winning Isaac Hayes and opened for R&B Grammy nominated KEM, has several songs in her heart that she plans to record but before then, will return to the Historic Blues Alley in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 for two shows, 8pm and 10pm EST. Influenced by Nina Simone, Gladys Knight and Nancy Wilson, Yolanda Rabun delivered her soulful, sultry smooth-jazz sounds in So Real, her 2011 debut jazz Enhanced CD with a 7-week UK Soul Top 30 chart run, released the chart-topping jazzy yuletide project, Christmastime in 2012, and in 2013, enjoyed a top-100 contemporary hit, Hold on to Your Dreams.
