Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas Adds Two New Editors

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- J. Christine Richards (Chris) has served as a professional editor for four years. In her role as acquisitions editor for a small book publisher, she has edited in multiple genres including women’s fiction, speculative fiction, young adult, and children’s books. As the founder of WAY – Words and Youth writers conferences – Chris edits and encourages teen writers. She teaches frequently at writers conferences including the Colorado Christian Writers Conference, the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference, Write to Publish and The Write Stuff. She also speaks at both Christian and secular writers groups.

Susan Price is a lifetime reader and a happy traveler both at home and abroad. Her first job was as an editorial assistant in a Christian publishing house in Colorado. That gave way to her teaching fourth grade students for three years. In 1979, her high school sweetheart Harry married her and moved her to Portugal. They worked there with an organization ministering to teens and young adults for eleven years. Currently Susan lives in the Ocala National Forest where she authors a very popular blog about her time in Portugal. She also writes and edits independently. Susan has continued to teach by tutoring homeschool students, and she offers creative writing classes. She and Harry hope to retire in Portugal.
