OAK BROOK, Ill. - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Simply being happy with the current state of affairs is not enough, according to Hybrid Marketing’s director of operations, Tyshawn. He believes that every organization must keep innovating and growing to remain competitive. With this idea in mind, he and his colleagues have undertaken a new system of goal setting that is sure to drive continued growth. “We wanted to avoid becoming complacent,” he explained. “We created this new way to set goals for ourselves that will keep us reaching for new heights.”

The system is designed around human psychology. The first step is to fully understand basic tasks. Tyshawn stated that his management team has been training team members thoroughly. This prepares them to take on more complex tasks. From there, his team sets both realistic and unrealistic goals. The idea is to ensure that they will reach some goals while they will have to strive for others. Beyond that, it is a matter of working hard and learning how to handle failure well.

Regarding the ability to constructively deal with unfavorable outcomes, Tyshawn has implemented a practice of acknowledging and celebrating errors. “This indicates to my team that it is okay to try and fail. Plus, reflecting gives us a chance to learn from mistakes so that we become better with time.”

While he admits that this system isn’t revolutionary, he believes that the combination of these simple factors will help his team accomplish great things.

Hybrid Marketing’s Director Talks About Team Nights

Tyshawn’s new system doesn’t just stop at goal setting, however. He and his colleagues are also hosting a series of team nights to reward everyone at Hybrid Marketing for their hard work and dedication. These are typically held every two weeks; most recently the team visited Dave and Busters and WhirlyBall to relax and bond.

“These team nights are a great way to bring everyone closer together,” stated Tyshawn. “They also help introduce new team members to the Hybrid Marketing family.”

He also reported that the team nights sometimes inspire unique campaigns for the firm’s clients. Furthermore, Tyshawn pointed to improved enthusiasm and energy as major benefits of the events.

“Additionally, we are adding to the team nights with even better incentives and bonuses,” he exclaimed. “In November and December, we will be giving a bonus for the best dressed among us, as well as another exciting giveaway. These are great opportunities to maintain a fun atmosphere and keep the team excited about new promotions, campaigns, and clients.”
