LITCHFIELD, Conn. - Jan. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- The Kenn Morr Band is an original Folk/Rock/Americana act featuring three part harmony and acoustic music driven by guitar, mandolin, violin, accordion, bouzouki, bass and drums.

The KMB is currently on tour in support of its latest release, the double disc set Afterimage. Recorded live at Sandy Brook Studios in Colebrook, Connecticut, it’s a project that was in the works for some time, featuring fresh interpretations of material from eight previous releases. Kenn and his band revisited the songs to capture the group as it sounds live, with crisp studio sound and minimal overdubs.

With airplay across the country and in Europe, Afterimage is set to bring the Kenn Morr sound to many new listeners. The group has been together for several years, becoming fast favorites on the outdoor festival scene and other venues including the famed Bitter End in New York City and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas on the New Haven Green. They have shared the stage with artists like John Sebastian, Al Kooper, Eric Burdon, and John Wesley Harding.

The Kenn Morr Band’s performance at Oliver Wolcott Library will feature songs from the new album as well as the stories behind those songs. Visit their website at www.kennmorr.com for more information on the band and to hear song samples.
