Allstar Nation Tour Announces January School Tour Schedule

HOUSTON - Jan. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- When Houston-based Allstar Nation Tour (http://www.allstarnationtour.com/) begins its 2015 school tour schedule this month, it will feature national recording artists from X-Factor and The Voice.

The Allstar Nation Tour (https://www.facebook.com/#!/allstarnationtour) is a national anti-bullying (http://www.allstarnationtour.com/) school music tour featuring emerging recording artists who perform and speak out against bullying at middle and high schools across the country. The highly-engaging assembly is a free supplemental anti-bullying program. Artists sing Top 40 and original music to connect with students. Between songs, they speak out against bullying, share personal experiences, and discuss prevention methods.

New Caney, Texas native Branden Mendoza (http://www.myonlyescape.com/), 21, who competed on The Voice season six, is scheduled to perform throughout January while Top 6 X-Factor USA finalist and fan favorite Drew Ryniewicz, 17, of Chino Valley, Ariz. will perform at a dozen schools through the week of January 26 starting at Tomball Junior High School.

Also scheduled to perform isFrisco native and pop singer Tristan Blaine (http://www.tristanblainemusic.com/), 15; Boston modern rock band “House On Cliff (http://www.thehouseoncliff.com/)”; Canadian pop sensation Nic Neufeld (http://nicneufeldmusic.com), 15, of Dodslan, Saskatchewan; and pop artist Omar Alhindi (http://www.omaralhindimusic.com/), 17, of label Tyme Records.

The tour in January is currently scheduled to visit 10 Texas cities, 16 schools, and 24 total performances starting Wednesday, January 7 at Lake Olympia Middle School in Missouri City. According to recent studies, bullying affects nearly one in three schoolchildren in America grades six through 10. It’s a major factor in teen suicide and school shootings. In fact, suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year, according to the CDC. Nearly 70 percent of students think schools respond poorly to bullying.
