CMR Makes Book of Lists for 4th Straight Year

SAN DIEGO - Jan. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Computer Market Research (CMR) is proud to announce special recognition within the Book of Lists, an annual publication by the San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) which provides listings of the hottest area companies in their fields, by ranking. This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year in which Computer Market Research has appeared in the San Diego Business Journal’s Book of Lists. This year, Computer Market Research was recognized as one of the largest Software as a Service (SaaS) companies in the county based on number of local full-time employees.

The San Diego Business Journal’s List of SaaS Companies ranked businesses by their number of local full-time employees as of May 19, 2014. Computer Market Research took the 5th spot on the list, with 31 local full-time employees. More impressive is that Computer Market Research was specially recognized as the oldest company on the list.

Software as a Service is a software distribution model in which applications are hosted by a vendor (like CMR) or service provider and made available to customers over a network, typically the Internet. Only businesses that sell SaaS applications were considered for this list. Computer Market Research delivers software applications that streamline the processes involved in managing channel programs. These include PartnerPortal, Deal Registration, Co-op/MDF Management, Reseller Profile, and Channel POS, among others. In total, Computer Market Research currently services over 100 software subscriptions for a variety of clients, mostly in the high-tech industry.

This year’s Book of Lists was distributed to SDBJ subscribers on the week of Dec. 29, 2014.
