Sterling silver water pitcher with nautical scene. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca. 1892. Curved body with chased and engraved boats. In the foreground, sailboats bob and sway on the choppy waves. In the background, a steamboat chugs straight ahead. Foot comprised of chased and overlapping scallop shells.

Same applied to neck border. Wide mouth with wavy scroll rim and small lip spout. Capped scroll handle. The pattern (no. 11455) was first produced in 1892. Excellent condition with nice patina.
