LIAACC’s Toy Drive Brings Joy to MLK Center in Long Beach New York

On December 22, 2014 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC), FidelisCare, and MLK Center in Long Beach hosted a Joint toy drive at the Martin Luther Center in Long Beach which attracted over 450 residents to the center.

LONG BEACH, N.Y. - Jan. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Long Beach, New York - On December 22, 2014 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC), FidelisCare, and MLK Center in Long Beach hosted a Joint toy drive at the Martin Luther Center in Long Beach which attracted over 450 residents to the center.

Several hundred toys were distributed to the families with children in attendance.  WBLS and Hot 97 entertained the crowd with family friendly music and face painting was available to add holiday cheer.  Santa Claus came just in time as the toys were distributed.   Frozen, Spiderman and Dora the Explorer also stopped by to the delight of all in attendance.

The Opening Reception of the art exhibit will be held at the Furniture Gallery in Roosevelt Field Feb 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
