Welspun Renewables Aids Marginalized Communities during Extreme Cold Wave

MUMBAI, India - Jan. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Welspun Renewables, India’s foremost clean energy generator, through its strong commitment to triple bottom line, has been working on 360 degree sustainability agenda. In line with this Welspun Renewables has launched an aid program to help combat the biting cold wave spreading across India, especially the northern parts of the country.

Welspun Renewables’ social inclusion initiatives are focused on 3Es – Education, Empowerment and Health & Environment. The IPP has initiated a number of programs to assist in better healthcare in the communities neighboring its projects. Through its Healthcare & Environment programs the organization has positively touched 10,500 lives across India.
