About the Authors:
Jerry Dorsman
is a mental health and addictions counselor who works in Maryland. His first book, How to Quit Drinking Without AA, is a recovery bestseller, having sold more than 125,000 copies. He is also the author of How to Quit Drugs for Good and the contributing author of Live Longer while Feeling Younger: A Guide to Health and Happiness as We Age.

An expert on addiction treatment and stress-management techniques, Jerry has appeared on more than 130 radio shows in the U.S. and Canada and on seven TV shows. His numerous articles on stress management, addiction treatment, and mental health topics have appeared in local newspapers and various magazines with national circulations. Positive reviews of his books as well as articles about his addiction treatment program have appeared in USA Today, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Your Health magazine (cover story), and Natural Health magazine.

Bob Davis, M.A., has taught yoga in north Delaware since 1971. He has worked as a stress management therapist with chronically mentally ill adults and sexually abused teenagers.

Bob has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes, and received three Delaware Division of the Arts grants for his writing. He was a fiction semifinalist in the William Faulkner Creative Writing Contest in 2002 and 2012, and a creative nonfiction winner in 2013. His writing has appeared in Yoga Journal, The Sun, Santa Monica Review, and elsewhere. Bob helps direct the Delaware Literary Connection, a nonprofit serving writers in Delaware and surrounding areas. He is a member of the Delaware Artist Roster, and has given writing workshops and readings in the Mid-Atlantic States. Bob was the editor of the first edition of How to Quit Drinking Without AA.
