The Gate Academy to Conduct National Engineering Challenge 2015

Ace GATE coaching institute, The GATE Academy, announces plans to conduct the National Engineering Challenge 2015across 150 plus cities in India. There are lucrative freebies and a cash prize worth ₹25,000,00 to be won.
 
BENGALURU, India - Jan. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Bangalore, India, December 17, 2014: Renowned GATE training institute, The GATE Academy, has announced plans to conduct the National Engineering Challenge 2015. The challenge is expected to see 23,00,000 engineering students, comprising of 20,00,000 online and 3,00,000 offline students, competing against each other. The challenge will be held across more than 150 cities across India. It will have three rounds with lucrative prizes, including a cash prize worth ₹25,000,00.

The competition, which will be open for students in the age group of 25-28 years, will start off with Round #1. This round will comprise an online test of 30 minutes and is scheduled to be held on February 1 and 8, 2015. Of the winners from every centre of The GATE Academy, two will be chosen for free coaching and will be given a pass to enter the next round.

Round #2 will comprise a zonal level test, from which two zonal level winners will receive a tabGATE worth ₹12,000, completely free of cost. These two winners will also qualify for national level finals that will be held in Bangalore. The second level is expected to be held towards the end of February. The finals will be conducted between 5 teams, comprising of 10 participants who will undergo a series of rounds, after which the All India Winner and Runner-up will be declared. The finals are expected to be held in the end of March.

The challenge not only promises a cash reward worth ₹25,00,000, the winner of the final round will also have a chance to win ₹1,00,000, with the runner-up taking home ₹ 75,000. The event will be covered and promoted across various social and print media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Scratch Cards, Pamphlets, etc. There will also be pre-event newspaper coverage, college posters, etc to promote the event, with ground level marketing at 900 plus engineering colleges. The post event updates will be available on YouTube, Facebook and Press and other communities, with the online audience expected to reach 2,00,000.
