AM970 The Answer's HealthNavigator Features Raritan Bay Medical Center's Dr. John Kramer

NEW YORK - Dec. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- HealthNavigator, the weekly health and wellness radio show on New York's AM970 The Answer, will air at 3PM this Saturday, January 3, 2015. Hosted by Abe Kasbo and sponsored by Raritan Bay Medical Center, this episode will feature Dr. John Kramer, a podiatrist and wound care specialist at Raritan Bay Medical Center.

Dr. Kramer will explain what chronic wounds are and will talk about the type of patients most likely to suffer from them and how to determine if a wound needs specialized care. Dr. Kramer will also discuss in detail treatments available for chronic wounds including hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Kramer will outline potential complications from untreated wounds and whether or not it is best to leave wounds covered or uncovered will also be mentioned.
