WSB-TV Atlanta Interview with Milton GA Mother of 7 children will air New Year’s Day

The interview will showcase Mrs. Crain’s start-up business and also her family’s journey from a devastating fire that completely destroyed their Milton, Georgia home a year ago.

Dawn Crain, the mother of seven children, designed A Playmate Before the Due Date, a charming and beautifully illustrated book and huggable bear that is used to engage, prepare and comfort big brothers and sisters before the arrival of a new baby.

“Soon after the arrival of my first child, I was planning the second. When each pregnancy was announced, I wanted my kids to be as excited and involved in the new baby’s arrival as my husband and I were,” says Dawn Crain, Founder of Fanciful Friend Creations, LLC. She continues, “During this time I was looking for a fun and interactive way to get my children involved in the process. Nothing was available so, with the help of an army of mom friends, I created A Playmate Before the Due Date. When children actively participate in preparing for the arrival of their new sibling, it encourages stronger bonds and helps lessen any anxiety that may be felt around the uncertainty of the new arrival.”
