This session will generally describe the risks involved for providers serving an aging population under the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act. The applicable safe harbors under the Anti-Kickback Statute and exceptions under the Stark Law will be explained so that providers can understand how these fraud and abuse laws apply to their industry. The presentation will also discuss recent cases involving providers serving an aging population focusing on the fraud and abuse issues being pursued pursuant to these cases.
