161 New Ways To Mentor A Child’s Heart. ANNA HERBERT: Playground of Dreams

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Anna Herbert is the Founder and CEO of Playground of Dreams. She has enjoyed successful careers in software and coaching, is an active member of the Hollywood Youth Advisory Committee, and is the executive producer of the world renowned ’24 Peaces’ project, film, and art exhibition.

The inspiration for Playground of Dreams came from Anna being a mom to her son, and in her commitment to provide kids with a safe environment to express their creativity, dreams, and be their best self.  "Above all, I love working with kids. I cherish their zest for life, creativity, joy, and freedom. The biggest contribution I can be is to give them a forum to discover who they are, support them in demonstrating, and then empower them to give it away as leaders."

POD is a child advancement initiative working in partnership with these efforts – the organization believes a major focus needs to be the source empowering the source -- Kids empowering Kids.  POD is a free program and monetary support is essential to their mission.  POD believes in kids. They believe they are the answer. They believe in their dreams and vision for the world.

Playground of Dreams is a non-profit (501C3) organization teaming industry leaders with kids from all walks of life, fostering their creativity, leadership, and unique purpose in the world. POD is creating the next generation of world leaders. POD is a mentoring program that provides children with a safe place to dream, to ignite their creativity, and to be inspired leaders in their communities.  POD mentors range from professional actors, athletes, chefs, directors, entrepreneurs, dancers, artists, law enforcement, and all around creative geniuses. Their mission is to help the students be confident in who they are, discover their passions, and create positive relationships in their lives.

Playground of Dreams is a multi-cultural coalition of kid leaders committed to being a united stand for love, joy, and freedom in their own neighborhoods and throughout the world.  Playground of Dreams (POD) is uniting communities through the love, dreams, and creativity of children. Their mentoring program provides a safe place for children from all walks of life to live their dreams, to learn to be their best self in all environments, and empower them to be leaders through service in their communities.
